I Need a Search Arguments for Dummies Book

Post by BobH »

Search for keywords:
Place + in front of a word which must be found and - in front of a word which must not be found. Put a list of words separated by | into brackets if only one of the words must be found. Use * as a wildcard for partial matches.
The text above appears on the Search page. Even with these tips, I cannot seem to make a search argument that will return what I'm looking for. Suppose I wanted to search the Lounge for posts I've made that contain both "photos" and "sort". I cannot suss out how to form the argument to include both words but exclude posts that have one or the other. Is it possible to do so? If so, how?
