File Explorer Showing 2 View Selections

Post by BobH »

In the screenshot above, you can see that somehow I have managed to tell File Explorer to display in both the Large Icon and Details formats. It is displaying Large Icons; I want Details. I don't know how I did this and I don't know how to 'undid' this.

Can anyone help?

 :chocciebar: :thankyou:

You have selected Details pane, as well as the Large icons view.
The Details view is a few rows below Large icons.

"Details Pane" means that if you click the Details button near the upper right corner (below the toolbar, see (1) in the copy of your screenshot below), a pane will pop out with details about the selected file.
If you want to view details about all files in the folder, select Details in the View menu (see (2) in the screenshot).

Thank you, gentlemen!

I've had my head down coding and creating an rdbms using Xampp and phpMyAdmin. I'm a bit cross-eyed at the moment.

I now have the display with the file details I wanted.

Thanks again.
