I Think This is a Windows Problem . . .

Post by BobH »

. . . but it occurs with Roboform only; so it might be a Roboform problem and I've posted it in the wrong place.

When I type 'roboform' in the search function in the system tray, I'm offered only the option to install the program; however when I look at CP > Programs and Features I find that the current version appears.

If it's installed, how do I invoke it?

I don't have a shortcut on the desktop or in teh system tray.

Did you check the hidden links in your system tray:

(You need to double-click it to invoke it.)

I think you may need to uninstall and reinstall Roboform. Here is what I see...

Actually, I am inclined to agree with Stuart - I just checked what I see when I search and get the same 'App' offered.

Note: You should find you are asked to log in to your account when installing, then - when it is installed - it is tied to your account and should sync automatically.

Thank you, Gentlemen!

I did, indeed, find the launch icon in the hidden items in the system tray. I almost never - can't remember ever having to - look in hidden icons as I use the computer day in and day out. I had forgotten that such a think exists.

Thanks for the re-education.
