Thanks Hans, I'll need that when I finally get a replacement SSD back.

Meanwhile, what setting do you use in O&O? Turn off recommended, turn off somewhat recommended or turn off everything?

I use a mixture of settings.

I turned off most of the settings that have "yes" in the Recommended column, but not all. For example, I like the "Night light" setting that changes the screen's brightness and colour temperature at night; to have Windows do this automatically it needs to be able to locate my computer.

I turned off only about half the settings that have "limited". For example, I see no reason to disable the network connectivity indicator in the taskbar.

And of course, I left all settings that have "no" alone.
Best wishes,
Hans

P.S. As mentioned in the thread about 1809, Microsoft has temporarily withdrawn the update, until the problem of disappearing documents has been corrected.
Best wishes,
Hans

Yes, I saw that interesting new feature of Win 10 1809. Given that I'm quite glad I'm still waiting for a replacement SSD.

My laptop is due to reboot later tonight to finish the update. I'm not too fussed if it does eat all my documents as I can just restore the backups!
