File Explorer

Post by silverback »

Is there a setting somewhere to make File Explorer display subfolders the way that Windows Explorer does i.e. if a folder has sub folders, the top level folder has a plus sign alongside its name.
Thanks

When I hover my mouse over the File Explorer window I see chevrons that convey this information. Do you not see these?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Ah. Yes and no. If I look at This PC and expand the folder contents I Documents with a chevron by the name. If I expand Documents, the subfolders are listed with chevrons.

However, if I look at Documents in the Quick Access section, folders do not have chevrons.

So from now on I will only access Documents from the This PC section.

Thanks for pointing this out.

The entries under Quick Access are some kind of shortcuts; they don't show a chevron if they have subfolders. So it's more convenient to look under your username or under This PC.
Best wishes,
