How does Windows 10 handle the upgrade to different OS builds? I have the current version but an older build (one build behind).

Is it simply through the Cumulative KB updates?

That path I'm familiar with. How would I go about forcing the OS build to the current one? I'm thinking it is just the Cummulative KB updates but I could be wrong.

The major builds (1703, 1709, 1803) are different from the cumulative updates, but they too should be offered through Windows Update if applicable to your PC.
