The blog post doesn't mention 1803, they call it "April 2018 Update"...

It is version 1803 when you view the Windows specifications section under Settings | System | About.

The update is out now. If you want to get it immediately, check for updates manually, otherwise wait until Microsoft pushes it to your computer.

The 1803 update was just installed on my desktop. Total preparation/download/installation time was about 80 minutes, but I could use my computer normally during the first 65 minutes, so the 'downtime' was shorter than with previous updates.

Downloaded the 1803 ISO file, burned to DVD and verified ... time taken, 25 minutes. Using the 1803 DVD Setup took 78 minutes for preliminary work, install, 3 restarts and final checking.

Only 2 hitches so far.

1) 1Password extension for Edge and IE not working. 1Password authors, AgileBits say they are communicating with Microsoft to resolve.
2) the previously reported issue Post 228998 of the WD NAS My Book Live drive not working in v1709 was corrected with a setting. v1803 turned off those corrections. Resetting the switches corrected the problem.
