What do you do when its snowing hard outside ... take a look through the pc Events of the day of course
This one has been cropping up a few times ...
Why would my pc go looking for this non-existent web site? I have certainly not been trying to access ... well, not that I know of.
Any ideas?

Perhaps a web page that you visited had a link to fritterati.com, a website that doesn't exist any more.
Best wishes,
Hans

Re: Event Viewer
To clarify: when you visit a web page, your browser may pre-fetch other pages it links to, so that you won't have to wait if you decide to follow a link.
Best wishes,
Hans
