Yesterday, 2015.08.17, I applied the Subject update to my HP Stream 7 tablet. All went well except for one minor quirk. Instead of asking for my 4 digit PIN on startup, it insisted on asking for my full password to my MS account. I bit of a bother because it is a lengthy key with mixed upper and lower case along with special characters and numbers. I lot more difficult with a tiny touchscreen and me with big mitts!
The PIN was still registered on the security panel but I had to go through the "I forgot my PIN" routine in order to reset it and make it the standard option on startup. Interestingly, I used the same PIN when asked to enter a new PIN and the system did not seem to mind that I was using the same value as the previous item.
A restart completed the process and I am back to entering a 4 digit PIN.
