Easy way to sign out of a user account in Win 10
The Power settings in the Start Menu include Sleep, Shutdown, and Restart but nothing for just signing out of a user account. If you just want to sign out of a user account, use the Power Users Task Menu obtained by right-clicking the Start button or with the keyboard shortcut Winkey+X. This menu has a “Shut down or sign out” entry that includes the option “Sign out”.

I think it is worth adding to the spreadsheet. Maybe it can be the first entry in a new worksheet for "Useful Links", eh?

One condition to consider if we do this is that the "Useful Links" must always refer to software. The context of the file is in a thread called Freeware Used and Rated by loungers, so any useful links must still point to software or tweaks on software (freeware) that is good to know. We cannot have useful links pointing to how to take stains out of ones carpet, etc... (where did I get that thought from???)

I have a few things to do on the sheet already, so I'll add this link in addition and then upload the new version....

Well, since Windows 10 is a free update to users of Windows 7 and 8.1, it technically counts as freeware...

Agreed, Rudi, but I don't think we need, necessarily, to limit links to freeware . . . just software. There are many links to tutorials, tips & tricks, etc. for many applications. Those links are free even if the software they refer to might not be.

To sign out of the current account or to log onto another account without signing out, click the user name/picture at the top of the Start menu and click "Sign out", or click the name of the other account.

This seems to me more logical -- associating all the account stuff together -- than putting sign-out with power-off and restart.

That is a much better route to follow; and more logical. TX Jay.
(I don't have Win10 'yet', so relying on advice in articles of interest at this point.)
