I have the free versions of Bit Defender and Malwarebytes apps on my Android phone. Scans include my banking and telecom apps eg all apps ... I don't think you can 'choose' using these free security apps.
Some advice states that such scanning apps are not needed on Android due to the isolation of individual apps. However, a scan makes me feel 'comfortable'... but can these security apps obtain any personal info? I think not but some expert comment would be appreciated.

Re: Security Scanning apps
Thanks Joe. Meaning ... they can't access personal info?

They could but if they say they don't and you trust them then trust them.
