As a matter of local pride (also they have been my employer just shy of 3 years now), the scoreboards and video displays used in Sun Life Stadium in Miami for today's Super Bowl, were designed and built right here in Brookings by Daktronics. This is the 6th Super Bowl in a row that our video and scoring displays have played a part:(2005 - Jacksonville, 2006 - Detroit, 2007 - Miami, 2008 - Glendale, 2009 - Tampa and 2010 Miami). Also both the Saints and Colts (Superdome and Lucas Oil Stadium) have our "super systems" installed in their home venue.
Of course, I'm in IT and don't have much of a chance to do installs, but I do watch this stuff get built and it is quite impressive.
