Thanks for posting that link, Chris.

Two pics in that group really struck me: The classic picture of the Gulf War prisoners and the confrontation between the miner and the bobbies in the1984 miners strike. The latter would not have been so evocative had it been in color, I think.

The picture of the striking miner really brought back memories of that time. An absolutely classic piece of photo-journalism.
