BBC News - Quantum physics explanation for smell gains traction

The theory that our sense of smell has its basis in quantum physics events is gaining traction, say researchers.
The idea remains controversial, but scientists reporting at the American Physical Society meeting in Dallas, US, are slowly unpicking how it could work.

They do have a good nose for a story, these journalists.

It's an MP3 file, i.e. just sound. Someone hitting the snare drum, then a cymbal.

Dave, AFAIK, "rimshot" is a term used to describe the drumroll that precedes or follows a bad joke. It is also a basketball shot that falls short and goes off the front or back of the rim or goes around the rim of the basket one or more times and comes out.
