Those are wonderful pictures, Leif. I especially liked the Mongolians and their eagles used to hunt game for them. Wow!

Having watched the series over the past few weeks all I can say is ... Wow! This is television at its best. If you get the chance to watch any of the series, do so. You won't be disappointed.

This was on a par with David Attenborough, who co-incidently was on another channel (luckily on a different night) with a series about Madagascar.

I don't want to spoil it for any future viewers but one of the best parts for me, was the ten minute session at the end of each programme where they show how they did the filming.

In an adjacent tree the cameraman in full protective gear, filming a Congo honey climber, had to be rapidly returned to the ground with numerous stings whilst his subject blithely sat 100ft up in the tree, getting stung but ignoring the bees completely.
