It's so breathtakingly beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Makes me homesick  Those narrow roads with the logging trucks. I really love seeing the lighthouses. My mom lives by the Dungeness Spit and we all hiked out to one of the only lighthouses left where you can actually be a "keeper." Dungeness Lighthouse web cam

I know they have great crabs there, but are they in-dungeness to the area? Sorta makes you want to Sequim, n'est pas? :groan:

(Apologies, but as an ex-Pacific South Westerner I couldn't resist)

Certainment~! That's fabulous!~~!~! Outside of Maryland soft shell crabs, Dungeness crabs are my favourites. They took top billing at a local pub over in the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore this past Summer. Skwimming on Sequim Bay on unc's sailboat is a pastime I'll never forget with a picture perfect marina landing. I remember sitting outside a local Sequim fish market watching the delivery of these succulent delicacies. Needless to say, we went home and had us a huge "crab" bake~!

There's a shot of one of the real Dungeness Lighthouses (the black tower with the white top) just near the end of the video, which I hope you can play... That's the old one, there's also a newer one nearby. And here is some information about them both.

Thanks for that informative bit of history. No familiarity with this at all. I'd have to say that the scenic vista of the spit in Sequim surpasses that of Romney Marsh. I love the lens room photos tho. Wasn't that the fist on the Kermit photograph

Oh yes, I remember that cottage. Another seaside property with a wonderful view :sarcasm:
