The Tadpoles Nebula

Post by Graeme »

Here's IC410 the Tadpoles Nebula. So called because of the two tadpoles at two o'clock swimming into the centre of the image. The Letter Y open star cluster sits in the centre of the nebula, so called because the cluster's stars form the shape of a letter Y. Or at least they would do had I not over processed the image in my attempt to bring out the detail of the nebula.
