Dog barking up a tree

Post by ChrisGreaves »

I am still struggling to be a photographer of international acclaim. I have got as far as not holding a finger across the lens.

You had to be there, but ninety minutes ago when I took photos with my old phone the light was just right. Looking out of my study window i saw a dog barking up a tree. The light/sun has shifted and the dog is now in shadow. I could wait until tomorrow morning, but who knows when the next sunny day arrives?
Standing outside the house (so as to avoid the effect of flyscreens) the raised bed looks like The Landfill Garden House, but that's because I am tipping all excess soil material in there prior to tilling and sieving. The two bike tyres protect the Iris and the Lily.

From the far side of the bed, here is more detail.

And here is an up-close shot.
