Just a few words

Post by hlewton »

It will soon be a new year and with that, as sure as I’m sitting here, I will eventually have more computer issues that I will need help with. Along the way ever since my first post with many of you on Aug. 4, 2001, and my first post here in Eileen’s on Oct. 24, 2010, I have been helped many times. If I ever forgot to express my appreciation, I am doing it now, THANK YOU EVERYONE for you help and expert advice.

There are many in this forum that were also in the first forum I posted in back in 2001 and I am very happy for that. With all this being said, I want to once more say thank you and wish you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR the whole year through.
Regards,
hlewton

A very happy new year to all.

And I trust that the new year doesn't bring jars of Vegemite*

*This wish doesn't extend to Chris Greaves of course. But then, he already has a ten year supply, so even he wouldn't welcome more jars.

Funny you should mensh! I have been giving this some thought.
My good friend and neighbour David currently owns TWELVE four-wheelers that are parked in his backyard. He is a bit lot of a car genius, and his birthday is Sep 12th.
I have been thinking about soaking a label off a jar of Vegemite and labelling it "Long-Life Grease". Be interesting to see how many Kms a car can crack up before cracking up.

Speaking of cracking up: Thanks to all who have kept me on my toes here. Countless time you have saved ME from cracking up.
Cheers, Chris

I also wish everyone a good new year. Let’s hope some of the bad and threatening things tone down a bit.

We in central Texas also wish all Loungers a safe, healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year. May '23 be immensely better than '22.

All the best of whatever you want to you all.
I am relatively new to this forum but from what I saw this is a great little community with many members that have known one another for a long time. That's a good sign 😊
I am not at all sure I will ever be able to give anyone good advice so this sometimes makes me hesitant but I hope to be able to help others, and I appreciate the responses that helped me or that were just fun, and very kind 💖
