Post by ChrisGreaves »

For those of us with nothing better to do over the next few days except sit glued to real-time tracking, this article provides several links to real-time sites. And sights.

So if I told you it was :censored: freezing outside this morning, and I'd prefer to be in bed with a book instead of hganging out washing in the shed (which is, I suppose, hanging in washing), then I would I be judged wise?

1 day, 11 hours, 56 minutes is as near as anything to thirty-six hours sailing, and I bet that there is no Motel-6 along the way ...

Easy sailing for the Maxi's but not so good for those following at slower paces. With all the technology used these days, I am wondering how long it will be before such sporting events no longer need human interference ... will save much on food and clothes washing/drying

Good point, Ron!
It must be difficult getting clothes to dry when the washing line is matching the wind-speed.
OTOH they wouldn't have to carry as many sails, would they?
