Hello Loungers.
The first item in Messier's catalogue, the Crab Nebula. It was a bit windy so the stars a tad bloated and the nebula filaments are lost but not too bad other than that. My first go at M1. 2 hours of 3 minute exposures.
First time out with the telescope since April!

I might have another go at processing the data to try and get the stars smaller and you can still see evidence of dust on the sensor that flat frames are supposed to remove!

He started off that way. Messier 110 is a lot more messier.
