Lovely, the colours this year have been very good, a fanstastic range of greens through to reds while they are still on the trees. I fear though that the battering today from heavy rain and strong winds will have diminished them considerably.

Heavy rain here too this evening. It's changing fast now. But the colours have been gorgeous this year - better than last year.

How long did you polish them before you snapped a shot?

PS: If you look at the photo 'negative', it will basically look the same.

Umm, sort of but not really. Inverting the tone curve gives this version.

Ken, that color treatment turns Autumn to Spring.

Gosh! Ken, that's not what I expected! In my mind, red becomes green and green becomes red.

Nevertheless, I accept your educated tone.

When you invert RGB you get CMY, experiment here:

We much prefer that he drags in leaves and not mice :innocent: though the latter has occurred many times.
