IBM Computing Cheese Cutter

Post by ChrisGreaves »

For the record, Asiago (44m30s) is my favourite cheese, and it is a true measure of my love of Bonavista that although Asiago cheese cannot be purchased in Bonavista, my love persists ... :mice: :mice: :mice: :mice:

Of course, if you are into fibre-cable technology ...
I had a chance to watch medieval rope-making in Poissy in 2016.

For some unfathomable reason I found that video to be strangely fascinating.

Well, Paul, as we would say were we back in the heady days of ADP and the 405, "There's no accounting for taste".

I found the video fascinating, as well, especially the slicing of the Asiago, my second favorite cheese.

I think the video is an utter fraud and fake. The device for cutting the cheese (which has an entirely different meaning to some :innocent: ), could not possibly have been made by IBM because there was no blue and no admonition to THINK! :fanfare: :fanfare: :flee:

Hi John.
I'm still trying to come up with a retort; this might take a while!

I doubt it!
They probably used hard-wined third-cut boards.

The device would probably croak "Does not compute" if it met Chhurpi: The world's hardest cheese?(and being made from Yak, it finds its home in Scuttlebut!)
