Sad indeed.
But REJOICE! He has left us his gift - so many hours of engrossed reading.

He has left us only a small number of books, but they are very special - they are not like any other author's works.
Best wishes,
Hans

Special and will always cause controversy.

When I was teaching English in Zimbabwe in 1983, my A Level class was of mixed race. There was a copy of Catcher in the Rye in the library, held in a glass case for special loans by the librarian. She would not loan it to my students with darker skin! They got to borrow my copy instead.
Recently I heard of a case where the librarian at a local school here will not loan the book out to anyone.

I'm more interested in finding a compilation of the Glass Family stories. :read:
