The Andromeda Galaxy

Post by Graeme »

Would anyone like to have a go at processing an image of the Andromeda Galaxy?

https://theskysearchers.com/viewtopic.php?f=107&t=15048

There are four files available to download, 2 .TIFs and 2 .FITs

Any one of them is good to go.

Regards

Graeme

'Tis a thing of beauty! It would be the width of 3 full Moons if you could see it naked eye.

A good binocular target.

As a teenager (a long, long time ago), I had a small telescope, and the Andromeda Galaxy was one of the objects I could view from the balcony, even though we lived in a suburb of a large city...
Best wishes,
Hans

It holds a special place for you then? :)

Are you going to have a go at creating one of your own?!
