Needed the paterfamilias

This set of instructions came with a plastic ruler purchased in the UK this week.

I do realise that English can be a very difficult language for people from some cultures, but surely it can't be that hard to get it checked by a native speaker!

Spam is usually about other subjects than plastic rulers...

(Just for fun, I ran the subject of that spam message through a translation website, and it turned out to be about fake Cartier watches)
