History is made: Solar plane makes it through night

Apparently they landed with more battery charge than when they took off. Perpetual motion, if you can stay awake! :clapping: :cheers: :smile:

Edit: I just read this on the NY Times

With all of those solar cells and batteries, you would have thought he could have charged is iPod.

Hmmmm. I'm always dubious of things that happen 'at night'. I mean it's dark - how can you see they're not cheating? :grin:
