Everything is not working ...

So I was using this file-finder program, “Everything”, and something went wrong:

I should add that I find this little program VERY fast and very handy.
Brave little thing even tackles mountains of data on my all-time backup drive.

I use Everything daily in my private context and in business context...it is an important tool in my PC usage.
I am grateful to VoidTools for this brilliant application.

Not sure if this will be what you might want, but Quicksilver seems adequate for my needs and it is free.

Like what Rudi said, but it is BLINDINGLY fast.
My only wish is that it would include content.

I love the way that

(A) it worked! And quickly and first time and without me having to read a PDF file in full-screen mode with the laptop on its side (Ctrl-Alt-LeftArrow)
(B) The display pops the next available file into view as I inspect the results of the current file
(C) I can use the Down-Arrow key (Keyboard!) to inspect the next file in sequence
(D) The control panel was laid out in a way that even **I** couldn’t mis-interpret
(E) (not shown) it beats the crap out of FileBoss
(F) (not shown) after typing up this endoresement I want to go and play FileSearchy for the rest of the afternoon.

P.S. (G) Unlike some Lounge’s I could mention, the search mechanism caters for specific strings of less than four characters. Ahem!
P.P.S Did I mention that it was fast, easy to use, and worked first time?
The only thing better than FileSearchy on a day like to day is a plate of toasted crumpets and honey. I wonder if FileSearch can find the crumpets recipe html I d/l about six months ago ...

Although my initial search would have been only for Crumpets" and I would have downloaded only recipes for Crumpets.
(Accept no cheap substitutes ...)
