If this is real it is quite impressive, or very lucky...

Re: Spare plus
It looks real, but I think it has been set up for this particular shot, similar to the trick shots they sometimes do in snooker.
Best wishes,
Hans

It's a setup. The right hand pin ( middle alley ) is way out of spot.HansV wrote:It looks real, but I think it has been set up for this particular shot, similar to the trick shots they sometimes do in snooker.
But still quite a shot!
In fact, it looks like both pins in the middle alley are out of spot.

If they were in spot, they would not have travelled across to the other lanes.
But still looks impressive.

Re: Spare plus
I think it is talent just to hit the first pin no matter where it is sitting, much less have the ball ricochet to hit the second, then causing pins to fly off to hit the third and fourth ones in other lanes! It is impressive!

Re: Spare plus
That's impressive no matter if it's set up.
Back in my bowling days I heard of a documented event where a woman bowler in a local tournament bowled at a full rack of pins and left the complete back four, the 7, 8, 9 and 10. A combination of a very light ball (6 pounds) and a glancing blow apparently.
