Dunno, I can't read music! So it can be whatever you want it to be.

Ken
PS what should I play to mark the arrival in the post of my P45?

Talk about getting off on the wrong foot!
Weren't you taught in school that a preposition should never be used to end a thread topic with? :cranky:
Still, I suppose that we ar all stuck with it now :innocent:

Congratulations.
Please make an entry in your tickler file to revisit this thread in ten years time and tell us how retirement didn't turn out as you had thought it would.
Cheers, Chris

So how does a person who doesn't read music beget a son who's a brilliant organist?

Clearly you have yet to learn that 'putting feet up' is a serious time challenge for retirees :innocent:

Why I Like Retirement!

How many days in a week?
6 Saturdays, 1 Sunday

When is a retiree's bedtime?
Two hours after falling asleep on the couch.

How many retirees does it take to change a light bulb?
Only one, but it might take all day.

What's the biggest gripe of retirees?
There isn't enough time to get everything done.

Why don't retirees mind being called Seniors?
It comes with a 10% discount.

What is considered formal attire for a retiree?
Tied shoes.

Hi Ken,

Coming in late on your posting ... congratulations on your retirement. :clapping:

You will now start to wonder where the time has gone ... there is no such time as free time ... you will find lots of things to occupy the hours that will fly by very fast. I retired in 2003 and that has been my observation! :hairout:

P.S. Love your new avatar!
Regards,
Bob
