Quiddler (vs. Qiddler)

Post by ChrisGreaves »

I've been tooling around in http://www.setgame.com/quiddler/puzzle_frame.htm for about 6 weeks. The web page has problems - it's not you!

I solve the problem by cheating:
I make any words at all to uncover the lower set of 8 cards, then I RESTART and rebuild words to match the high score.

This morning's puzzle (Note: it changes each day, and will be gone forever after today!) shows a Q on the upper deck, but I uncover no "U" on the lower deck.
Huh?
Is this another malfunction of the web site team - have they hidden the U under the Q, making it inaccessible, or do they know a word that I don't know?

E(In) ER(C) Y(N) R(G)
H(B) E(O) X(A) Q(???)

Teresa (of Set Enterprises, Inc.) kindly wrote to me:

There is a Quiddler School Worksheet you can view/download every day to find out what the cards are underneath the top layer. The worksheet gives you an opportunity to work out the cards to achieve the highest score. It located on the daily Quiddler Puzzle at the bottom of the page, Today's School Worksheet.
