See-no-nymbs

Post by Rudi »

In each pair of words below, shift a single letter from one word to the other (without rearranging the remaining letters) to turn them into synonyms. You can lift the letter from any one of the word pairs.

For example: GRIPE and SIZE.
By moving the E from GRIPE to the word SIZE you’d come up with GRIP and SEIZE.

Try these out....
  1. GROVE     -     ROUT
  2. CONTRACT     -     EACH
  3. SINGE     -     LONE
  4. SICK     -     TROD
  5. WAGGER     -     AMBLE
  6. BAWL     -     FRIGHT
  7. WEARY     -     CARFUL
  8. TREASON     -     THOUGH
  9. BOAR     -     SALON
  10. SHLOCK     -     JOT
  11. DAM     -     WEPT
  12. BUDGET     -     SIR
  13. SLIGHT     -     REUSE
  14. PEASANT     -     FLAIR
  15. TROUGH     -     STUDY
  16. SIMULATE     -     SPURT
Regards,
Rudi

If your absence does not affect them, your presence didn't matter.

It took you less time to answer all 16 than it took me to type the whole puzzle out!
Never-the-less; 100% correct.
