I can't move the matches. They are stuck to the canvas?

BTW: If you didn't throw the match box away, you can still make 18 :fire:

Rudi

If your absence does not affect them, your presence didn't matter.

But I managed in 30 sec (spacetime measurement) to resolve the equation :clapping:

(How can I insert a spoiler to show my secret, different result)

Ah ha ... found it
Spoiler

About 10 seconds.

I made a slightly different change
Spoiler
Move the vertical of the + sign and use it to cross out the = so it becomes 6-4 =/ (does not equal, not sure how to show that value) 4
Who will you Inspire today?

That's what NotQuite said in the preceding post (having just meant: " to use the match to turn the = sign into a ")

I love the multiple solutions to this puzzle. I saw one solution very quickly and didn't think to check for others.

I'm with Stuart. Once I find a solution I rarely seek another unless my first solution, when applied, is cumbersome.

It's a fault in me, I guess.
