Where am I?

Post by Rudi »

Using wit and all the resources of the internet, provide me:

1. The name of the TOWN in which this image is taken (And no, it is NOT Cape Town!)
2. The web address that points to the actual image (in the photo gallery of Google Maps)

Spoiler
I Googled for North Pole 1250 miles. The web search didn't yield a promising result, but the image search did. After that, it was easy.
Best wishes,
Hans

Spoiler
Argh...this ridiculous Google Image Search!!!

I checked to see if Google Image search would reveal the image and it didn't. But I didn't count on using the mile markers to run a search on images! :sigh:

There is a wonderful Map Search Tool called Radius Around Point
One can run searches based on a point and the miles/km around that radius
If one uses the North Pole, London and Seattle, one basically gets to the Barrow Location
