What do these words have in common

Post by steveh »

Probably an easy one for all of you lounge geniuses

Apart from the fact that they all contain one or more double letters what else do they all have in common

Banana
Dresser
Grammar
Potato
Revive
Uneven

Aha....
Spoiler
If you chop off the first letter, they all become palindromes.

Spoiler
Since it is a palindrome without the first letter, you could stick the first letter onto the back-end of the word and read it backwards

Hi Bob

Good try but Rudi is right if you take the first letter from each word and put it at the end it becomes a palindrome of the original word (or more correctly it reads the same backwards as it did forwards)

Here you go Rudi :chocciebar:

That means Rudi's original solution was correct too!
