Names for horses ...

Post by geecee »

As some of you may be aware, as a hobby, I compile various types of puzzles. Currently I am working on a series of Logic Grid Puzzles entitled Horse Racing Careers. I don't know what it's like elsewhere - presumably it's the same - but here in Australia and in the UK (that I know of), for some reason race horses get some strange names and it's this in which I am interested. I am looking for 'made-up' names - none that are known to be actual for obvious reasons - which are no more than 13 characters in length, including spaces. I already have a list of around 200 of my own but I would appreciate some suggestions from others.

Examples of what I am looking for - from my list - are Ken Tuky, Mad Agaska, Miss Teerious, Sheesmisister, Makeam Ends, Toonoa Vale, Cokadoodle Do, One Sinawhile, Lovapav, Kamankolekted, Tunococ, Maerceci. The last two are words in reverse.

The complete list of what I already have can be seen in the attached PDF.
Document 6.pdf
Cheers.

Echo's of Who's on First...

I missed Hoof Hearted in your list, or didn't I look carefully enough?
Best wishes,
Hans

How many names do you need?

How about these two webpages that provide options...

-- Names for your horse
