Twice Odd

There are two odds in each line.
To answer correctly, supply the reason why each of the two words is odd (in each line).

Though I cannot deny that the pets are only one syllable, I'd like to give time for anyone to mull this one over further for another answer.

Maybe the puzzle was created before the cocktail. I see it contains Peach Schnapps.... :yum: x1000 !!!
