Each syllable can only be used once and the number of syllables to be used is shown in brackets.
When the correct words are filled in, the first and last letters from the hidden words (reading down) will reveal a proverb.

Oh! I was so excited about the syllawords, I missed the proverb. I have a tendency not to read all the way through.
