Can anyone tell the time?

Post by Rudi »

It it wasn't for the "positions" of these equations, I'd take ages to tell what the time is :hairout:

BTW:
For those mathematicians amongst us, there is a single error in one of the equations.
Can you identify which clock and which equation is in error?

I assume the error is
Spoiler
52 + X^2 - X = 10 for 7
I suspect this should read 52 - X^2 + x = 10

Spoiler
On the first clock, the equation for 7 o'clock should have been

10+x2-x=52

(although this also has x=-6 as solution, in addition to x=7)
Best wishes,
Hans
