A new short-form text adventure by Michael Lutz plays off of this surprisingly ubiquitous piece of playground balderdash. The Uncle Who Works For Nintendo puts you into a videogame-filled sleepover night that gets increasingly disturbing, hour by hour, as the grandfather clock in the den ticks ominously toward midnight.
To talk much more about Uncle would be to spoil it, which I do not want to do. You can play through to one of its several endings in about 15 minutes, so I’d recommend trying it out. If you’re intrigued, you’ll notice you can start finding more endings. I strongly suggest you do. The game makes it clear which endings you’ve found and how you might go about finding the rest. There are some smart design choices that guide you along without making it too obvious.
Go ahead. It’s only a few minutes to midnight.

Sorry, I don't like horror games...
Best wishes,
