Hi,
I have an external HD that my computer recognizes but will not let me open. It gives me an error that says its too full. When I plug it into the computer its saying the drive needs to be formatted. I hit cancel since I don't want to do that. Is there any software to get around this? It was working fine a week ago.
Thanks,
Leesha

What happens if you run chkdsk on the drive?

Hi Ken,
Unfortunately every time I click on the drive the computer freezes up so I haven't been able to do chkdsk.
