Minor memory error

Post by John Gray »

Running Microsoft Memory Diagnostic on a new 1 GB memory stick* shows that it fails one of the eleven tests consistently at a specific memory address where the expected memory contents result differs by one bit from the actual content. It passes all the other ten tests throughout the entire address range.

Would you replace it, or keep it? It seems to run XP Pro OK.

I'd replace it particularly if it is under warranty.
