No doubt, you are correct, Sir Hans; however, my fonts are a bit tongue-tied. That is to say that I have an HP 530 laptop with no numeric keypad. Using WinXP Pro SP3 and displaying the Character Map for several fonts (starting with Times New Roman then going to Verdana), I could find no display of the euro character. Although the keyboard shows a num lk key and shows a numeric keypad hidden in the M/J/U/7, K/I/8, and L/O/9 keys, I don't know how to invoke the num lk.
