Microsoft Internet Keyboard Pro

I've had this keyboard for 10-15 years and it's still going strong. Can anyone tell me the purpose of the key circled in the photo below? It does not appear on any other keyboard my wife and I have. When pressed it seems to bring up a context menu but I'm wondering if it has any other function(s).

It's called the Menu key. It's purpose is indeed to display the context menu of whatever has the focus when you press it.
