See Piriform Blog - CCleaner v3.03. Among the new features is support for the K-Meleon, Safari and Chrome Plus browsers.
Download from CCleaner - Builds. As is Piriform's habit of late, the "Slim" version isn't available yet, but it will probably be added within the next few days.

Is anyone using Chrome Plus browser? I've read some cons about it but am curious who is using it and if you like/dislike it over Chrome.HansV wrote:See Piriform Blog - CCleaner v3.03. Among the new features is support for the K-Meleon, Safari and Chrome Plus browsers.

I'd not heard of ChromePlus until I read this post so I did a quick Google to find it. Having reached chromeplus.org I found myself instantly wary. The English is clunky and then when I clicked on the link to the:Hey Jude wrote:Is anyone using Chrome Plus browser? 'Start ChromePlus Getting Started Tutorial'
I was presented with a page declaring:
'Incompatible Browser,Please Download ChromePlus and retry' [the lack of a space after the comma simply reproduces their page]
Err no thanks, that smacks of trickery to get you to download something you really don't want. They say 'no malware inside' but that doesn't preclude it some how linking to something outside does it? Or am I just being paranoid?
Ken
PS NB I've deliberately not included any links in this post

The Chrome Plus website gets a good score card on WOT, so it's probably not malicious.
Chrome Plus appears to be equivalent to Chrome with several add-ons preinstalled. Perhaps Chrome Plus is useful for people who can't or won't install add-ons themselves; personally I'd rather decide which add-ons to use for myself.

Paranoia is a very wise attitude to take when considering internet downloads.stuck wrote:Just me being paranoid then...

Hans,
Remember when EL wasn't rated by WOT and now we are GREEN
Ken,
I noticed WOT rating, and if I was in the market for another browser (which I'm not) I might try it, but I find "plain jane" Chrome perfect for my Facebook needs. I'll continue my dance with FF
A StevePaul has done considerable comparative research between Chrome and CP since 2009 and is convinced that CP is the ultimate browsing experience. StevePaul reviews
