Defraggler 2.01 released

Post by HansV »

The main new feature of Piriform's free defragmentation utility is a flexible scheduler - set a defrag on login, idle or specific intervals. See Defraggler v2.01 for more details.

Download from Defraggler - Builds

And while you are visiting the piriform web site, you should download and install the latest version of Recuva.

Recuva will help you recover deleted files, but you really ought to install it when you don't need it, to avoid having to make changes after you have accidentally deleted an essential file. That way you maximize the chances of being able to recover.

I agree, it's best to have a recover utility installed.

It might also be a good idea to install the portable version (see http://www.piriform.com/recuva/builds" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) on a USB drive - you can use this to run the program on any PC without having to install it.
Best wishes,
Hans

Yet again it seems that the Slim version of each Piriform software release is delayed for a few days, presumably to increase somewhat the uptake of whatever add-on is included in the full version, since people tend to leave the update boxes ticked - unless they notice them!
