For reasons unknown to me this application, when run on my iPad, retains a search argument in its search window. It doesn't retain the next new one but is retaining one from several searches back. This means I must clear the search panel before entering a new search. I don't see this on my Windows PC. I can find no setting that might control this in duckduckgo, and I can't imagine that iOS is doing it. Searching the web has yielded no explanation and solution.
Has anyone here experienced this and found a solution?

Re: duckduckgo
Yes, I've tried removing it and downloading another copy and reinstalling.
