Office 2010 and VBA

Post by agibsonsw »

Hello.
Someone has suggested to me that VBA has been removed/disabled for Office 2010. I don't believe this to be true. But perhaps it is now an add-in or the developer tab
needs to be shown before access to the VB Editor is enabled? If someone has a copy could they let me know please?
Also, although the macro recorder is (I understand) disabled for PowerPoint, I assume it can still be programmed? Thanks, Andy.

Since Office 2010 hasn't been officially released yet, I have moved this thread to the Beta Software forum.

VBA is still supported in Office 2010, see for example Getting Started with VBA in Office 2010, which also describes how to display the Developer tab of the ribbon.
Best wishes,
Hans
