Hello,
Does anyone use a good video enhancer? I've looked at Topaz Video AI but it's too expensive for me. I don't have too many to enhance, sharpen and/or denoise so I can't see spending that much at this time. I really don't like subscriptions so I stay away from those.
I would be grateful for any suggestions.
Thanks!

Re: Video Enhancer Software
I've heard that Davinci Resolve is the go to choice for video editing and that it's available as a free version as well as at a price.
Having said that, I've never used it as I've never needed to edit video.

Re: Video Enhancer Software
Hi Ken,
Davinci Resolve comes up quite a bit for editing photos but I never considered it because I use Luminar Neo and love it. I didn't know about videos so I will check it out!
I've read about quite a few of the other enhancers but they seem to rely on subscriptions or "credits". The videos that I'm looking at are of the family and quite old. Just thought I may clear them up a little. There is just a few of them so that's why I don't want to spend a lot of money as I probably won't use it again. Depending on what I find, I may just leave them alone.
Thank you!

Re: Video Enhancer Software
Interesting, I've only ever heard of Davinci Resolve being used for videos, never photos
I've no idea what the free version can do, it might be it can't do what you need but
doesn't cost anything to investigate does it?

Hi, I looked into it and I possibly didn't understand what they were saying but from what I read, I doesn't do video enhancements unless you use Davinci Resolve Studio which is $295.

Re: Video Enhancer Software
I video and stills edit using the free version of DaVinci. There are numerous adjustment possibilities but also a very steep learning curve. For your few videos, best look for alternate software such as PowerDirector, Flixie free version. No personal experience enhancing with these.

A quick internet search shows a few free online video enhancement services. If your videos don't have any sensitive data in then you might want to give one or more of these a try.
