Snopes says it's true
Haven't read recent posts to the lounge so don't know if this has been raised but just in case it hasn't -here it is. BEWARE of an attachment called "Invitation Facebook", Snopes verifies it as true. Regards Dave.

You should beware of ALL attachments unless you know and trust the sender and know why you receive it.
Best wishes,

Re: Snopes says it's true
AMEN! I keep telling people this... especially older people, who love getting movies and what-not in their emails, and then forwarding them on. Then they ask me why their computers are acting weird... I ask them if they've been opening emails with attachments, especially from people they don't know, and they usually say yes. Then I ask them if they've been running their anti-virus programs, and they usually say no!
Ah, well. We all can use reminders now and then!
Happy New Year, everyone!

Same from me, I trust all who frequent this lounge will have a happy & prosperous New Year despite the economic downturn that is effecting the vast majority of us all. Regards Dave.
